the whole premise in which reluctant girl joins the school's failing kendo club is " i'm defending justice from the evil force "
bamboo blade is the new manga that i have taken to reading online via here; where you can find heaps of manga scanlations! what hooked me to this is the reluctant heroine, who is a pint size power house with a powerful kendo thrust (not to sure what that means..) and the way in which she views things is vastly different from others. cold and dispassionate on the surface, she sees her world in way where she is the defender of all things good - much like her favourite tv program - which is a ultraman like cartoon.
